Measurement with small sample volumes is possible, reducing the burden on pets
A compact design with a footprint equivalent to A4 size (letter size) paper allows the device to be installed at any place and realize quick in-clinic testing.
"Vcheck V200, an immunoassay measuring device", which will be released by ARKRAY, is an endocrine analyzer dedicated to cats and dogs. With its easy operations via a touch-screen panel, endocrine items such as T4, cortisol, and progesterone can be tested within clinics. Additionally, testing with a small sample volume (50μL) is possible, reducing the burden on pets undergoing testing. In the future, we plan to further increase the number of test items. * 1

◆ T4 (cats, dogs)
T4 is a major thyroid hormone. It plays an important role in adjusting basal metabolism in various organs.
The blood T4 levels in cats and dogs can be measured with this device, which is helpful for diagnosing suspected cases of abnormal thyroid function(s).
◆ cCortisol (dogs)
Cortisol is a hormone that adrenal cortex secretes. It is an essential substance for maintaining a living body.
The blood cortisol level in dogs can be measured with this device, which is helpful for diagnosing suspected cases of adrenal cortex dysfunction.
◆ cProgesterone (dogs)
Progesterone is a steroid hormone produced primarily by the corpora luteum.
The blood progesterone level in dogs can be measured with this device, which is helpful for determining the optimal mating time.

Insert a test cartridge into the device.

Dispense 50 μL of the sample into a diluent tube and mix the sample and the diluent 8 times or more using a dropper containing a tablet until the tablet is completely dissolved.

Leave the mixed sample to stand at room temperature for 10 minutes.

After that, drop 100 μL of sample ③ onto the sample dropping part of the test cartridge.

Press the start button. Measurement results will be displayed after 10 minutes.
