Contributing to Reducing Manual Tasks Before and After Measurement for Streamlined Testing Operations
Equipped with an Automatic Rotating Sample Barcode Reading Function and Sample Map Feature
ARKRAY's latest released model, the ADAMS Glucose GA-1180 measures blood glucose, a testing item for diabetes.
As one of the solutions from ARKRAY's ADAMS series (systems for automatic diabetes testing), new functions have been added to improve usability on top of its fundamental purpose of providing highly accurate and fast blood glucose measurements.
Automatic rotating sample barcode reading function

To read the barcode on the sample container, existing
instrument models required users to manually align the
direction of the measurement containers before placing
them.
The GA-1180 is equipped with an automatic rotating
sample barcode reading function.With this feature, the
necessity to manually align the orientation of containers
has been eliminated. Preventing errors caused by faulty
barcode readings leads to fewer tasks for users during
testing.
Sample map
With existing products, when results that called for re-measurement were issued, it was necessary to confirm the hard-copy results against the IDs attached to sample containers to identify the applicable samples.The GA-1180 is equipped with a sample map feature that displays the measurement status of samples. Since this function allows users to immediately identify samples that require re-measurement, the need to check each ID one by one when looking for samplesis eliminated.
With the introduction of a
10.1-inch tablet
as the operation panel, it is now possible to display more information at once compared to existing models. The graphical display includes figures and illustrations
for intuitive operation.
